Land of a Thousand Hills coffee started small. In 2008, founder Jonathan D. Golden roasted a few Rwandan beans in his kitchen and immediately uncovered a love for the rich flavor they produced. Today, Land of a Thousand Hills coffee is offered in five states, with plans to add four new locations in the next year. But this business isn’t just thriving. It’s also serving as an inspirational model that is one of a kind. Because since 2009, Golden and his team have run the Do Good Initiative, a mission-based nonprofit created to address the needs of local Rwandans by working directly with the community to identify challenges and propose solutions. We are proud to partner with the Do Good team in sharing their message of cultivating flourishing communities by donating one dollar for every pound of coffee purchased at Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee NOVEL locations.
